Teaching Jobs Japan

Japan’s leading private provider of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) is currently looking for highly motivated teachers who are qualified for Teaching Jobs Japan.   • Male or Female between 22 to 35 years old.
  • Like children and be willing to work as an Assistant Language Teacher.
  • Be able to commit to a one year contract, with an April 2012 start date.
  • Be in excellent health (with no pre-existing medical conditions).
  • Be flexible, with regards to location placement and school type.
  • Have a genuine motivation for applying (the purpose of entering Japan is not for visa purposes, for example).
  • Be professional in all aspects of manner and behavior.
  • Present a business like appearance and have outstanding grooming.
  • Be energetic, friendly, cheerful, adaptable, cooperative and flexible.
  • Be able to supply at least two professional and/or academic references, to be contacted by Interac, to provide an Interac formatted reference check.
Preferred Requirements:
  1. Possess Japanese language ability.
  2. Have teaching experience in Japan, or other international ESL experience.
  3. Hold TESOL, RSA or CELTA qualifications.
  4. Have a good awareness and knowledge of Japan and be interested in Japanese culture.
  5. The possession of a Philippine driving license will be a distinct advantage and candidates are strongly encouraged to acquire such a license.
